I am Dr Deb Wong, a specialist paediatric dentist. My team and I are dedicated to the care of the oral health of infants, children and teenagers and we look forward to meeting you and your little (or not so little) ones!

We love meeting new families and addressing their concerns, helping children feel comfortable in a dental environment, and developing long-term relationships with children, siblings and their families. We have a strong focus on preventive dental care, nurturing happy children with healthy teeth.

Our goal is to see your child grow up as a young lady or young man who is proud of their smile, is confident when visiting the dentist, and is empowered to take care of their own oral health, for life.

I enjoy all aspects of paediatric dentistry, and am particularly interested in the management of:

  • Children who are anxious or fear the dentist, those with autism spectrum disorder, have special needs or complex medical conditions

  • Dental decay of baby teeth or adult teeth

  • Chalky molars (Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation) and other dental defects

  • Restorative and aesthetic dentistry

  • Dental treatment with laughing gas (inhalation sedation) or under general anaesthesia

  • Paediatric oral surgery

A referral from a general dentist is not required to see a dental specialist- we welcome direct enquiries to our Ascot Vale clinic.

I am a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Specialist Dental Practice (Paediatric Dentistry).

I regularly attend conferences and meetings as a member of the Australasian Academy of Paediatric Dentistry, the Australian and New Zealand Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Australian Dental Association (Victoria).
